Helping how? The owner of the repo can submit code to your bullshit machine the exact same way. What value are you producing?

1·26 days agoI didn’t notice a difference. Maybe if you start new then go forgejo but existing gitea I see no reason to move.

Technology@lemmy.world•iPhone New iOS Age Verification Sparks Outrage as Users Say 'I Will Switch to Android'English
1·2 months agoMy response concerned the duopoly though. Graphene is still dependent on google regardless. They can’t maintain all of android themselves even if they tried. So it’s the best of a bad situation but does nothing to alleviate the overall problem.

3·2 months agoThe problem is graphene is entirely dependent on one arm of that duopoly though.

52·2 months agoI question why this gets recommended so much when we discuss truenas.
Without a doubt zfs is one of if not THE reason to go truenas. It does so much more for you than other filesystems.
I guess OMV at least has btrfs but not the same thing.

1·2 months agoBig disagree here. Still offer a jack, SD card, etc. Worth way more to me than a high end processor that I don’t use any more than a mid range one.

3·3 months agoOnly caveat is that bookstack is very opinionated (even said so by its creator) so be sure it’s what you want.
Nah, yaml isn’t great by virtue of itself but with what it competes with. I far, far prefer it to any other BS. Json is garbage for human creation and obviously toml due to above. XML… Obviously just for machines.
Again, only good because of its competition.
Yeah I get the feeling like 70+% of people here will never understand that.
