No worries here. I’ve been on EndeavourOS for 3 months now. Im just saying there’s enough crossover that I think the steam hardware survey will show the uptick over time.

Tbh, I’ve wanted to cut over to Linux for years, but I hadn’t due to game support. We’re at a point now with Proton that there’s almost no reason not to, unless you’re that beholden to games that install rootkits, er, kernel level anticheat, in which case just dual boot.

Sure it will, there are a ton of people who want to get away from the trash that is Microsoft and play Steam games, myself included.

True enough! Mistakes are the best teacher. That said, I’m still making games in Javascript to this day, so I guess you can say I haven’t learned enough lol.

This is how I got into game development myself. I used to use Javascript to make dumb little interactive games in the early 2000s before it was ever meant to do such things, emulating what is now modern day HTML5 canvas and such

Yeaaaaah, I mean fuck Tesla for a variety of reasons, but right here we’re looking at a car that drove itself onto a set of train tracks, continued down the train tracks, and the people inside did…nothing? Like, they grabbed their shit and got out when it got stuck. The car certainly should not have done this, but this isn’t really a Tesla problem. It’ll definitely be interesting when robotaxis follow suit though.

Hey guess what? Both of these can be bad. I’d argue that the case in “Russia” is a bit worse, seeing as this is actually not Russia, but Crimea. That said, the militarization of children is fucking awful anywhere.

And there will be even fewer users with a bad or lacking interface. It certainly does not solve the problem, but it helps reduce barriers to entry for new users.
