1·11 days agoI felt this place was a ghost town when I first started - maybe 10 posts a day. Now, there is plenty to read. Partly due to me finding more communities and overall more people here.

3·12 days agoThat would be nice. It can probably be done by blocking images at the browser level. Wouldn’t be the same as a text only site though.

2·1 month agoI personally see little wrong with using hardware past it’s EOL date if the user knows the risks. Braxman wasn’t informing his customers and selling phones that were years old as if they were brand new and still getting security updates.

3·1 month agoNo need to remove the post … I used to watch Braxman when I first started my privacy journey. Once I was exposed to enough sources and points of view, I realized Braxman is full of it.

5·1 month agoBraxman is a con-man. I haven’t checked out his store in a while but he used to sell EOL Pixels with GrapheneOS.
I prefer The Hated One, Privacy Guides, Techlore, and Side of Burritos.
For legal issues affecting privacy in Canada I watch Law Bytes Podcast and Privacy Lawyer.

Finally, someone else in this thread that sees the potential.
