Freecad. Turn on snapping and use the the helper. Seems like every new move requires a sketch rather than autocads sketch it all and then do 3d operations.

Will they actually delete it or will they just mark it in database as deleted? Are big companies like google going to send their tech workers to go through all their tapes and databases archived all around the world and prove they actually deleted your data? Are there enough consequences to ensure companies actually scrub your data rather than do the bare minimum?
Oniononon@sopuli.xyzto Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Plex now want to SELL your personal dataEnglish51·17 days agoJust say you don’t care about privacy and having all your data out there for anyone to do anything they want with.
Oniononon@sopuli.xyzto Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Plex now want to SELL your personal dataEnglish1·17 days agoThey can’t delete everything they’ve collected and they propaply don’t.
In a few years the “do not agree” will dissapear anyway.
Oniononon@sopuli.xyzto Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Plex now want to SELL your personal dataEnglish21·17 days agoIdunno why you don’t think having an unique hash attatched to your data is no biggie. Especially if that hash is easily cracked in a few years by quantum computers.

There is finally an answer to the letters sent out by isps.
Oniononon@sopuli.xyzto Technology@lemmy.world•Former Meta exec (Nick Clegg) says asking for artist permission will kill AI industryEnglish2·19 days agoYes you can. Raise awareness, vote, contact representatives, organise and sign a large petition. This is eu only, if youre in us use 2nd amendment as intended in order to get your democracy back.
Llms are the smartest thing ever on subjects you have no fucking clue on. On subjects you have at least 1 year experience with it suddenly becomes the dumbest shit youve ever seen.

Oniononon@sopuli.xyzto Programmer Humor@programming.dev•You can't "skill issue" yourself out from every situationEnglish31·21 days agoThis is a very apples to 40kg bag of quick set concrete conparison.
If your team od professionals need to spend all the time learning how to do basic shit from manuals, you just wasted hundreds of thousands in wages. And you are going to waste more monwy every time you hire someone new.
Engines all function basically same and once you know how to assemble or dissassemble one, you use the manual as reference. And unless the engine is shit you really never need to take it apart.
Aircraft are regularly being praised for being easy to fly as it is a very desirable quality. Usa designed ww2 tanks to be easy and intuitive to drive for service men since it sped up training, reduced costs, reduced the amount of accidents etc.
There are entire degrees and careers dedicated to better user experiences and good designs cause bad design is just fucking stupid and expensive. You pay proffessionals for their brains. Do you want to waste your money ohln their brains being used to run through the manual every day and remembering in ehich stupid ass menu or hotkey the needed action is, or for them to solve the problems they came here to solve?
Id like to hear a single reason why shit ass ux and obtuse learning experience is good, acually, since you have not posted any.

Oniononon@sopuli.xyzto Programmer Humor@programming.dev•You can't "skill issue" yourself out from every situationEnglish2·21 days agoBut freecad is nonsensical. Why do i have to change modes? Why can’t i sketch it all out first and then do body work? Why is snap to grid not on default? Why is the constraint system basically non functional?
Its good but you really need to rtfm and forget 30 years of ui and ux evolution.

I am ready for my 99999 downvotes and insults for not going with the propaganda. Nothing prevents someone for eventually saving up billion by making a good product in todays digital age. Nothing requires you to be evil. Countries having shit tax policies that do not get the full benefit of having hyper rich is a country policy issue. Killing people is not the solution, change in policies is.

But in practical terms haha storage go brr either way.
