Nice! I installed Linux Mint on my father’s computer and I haven’t been tech support since. It’s been quiet days compared to when he was using Windows.
32·8 days agoThe Fediverse is the way. In this Financialised capitalism, capitalist platforms will continue to be enshitified as they only tend to shareholders interests of continual growth. They do not care about humans.
We need to keep this momentum going.
3·8 days agoThe problem will be to convince your friends and family to use Signal, and that’s really not obvious.
I’ve been building computers since 1999, and I’ve noticed that the industry is cyclical. I’ve purchased CPUs from both Intel and AMD. We need Intel to succeed, otherwise AMD will dominate the x86 processor market.
Why is this upvoted? It an ad for a company.
