people hate the big cloud solutions, but this is the kind of thing their HA infrastructure prevents against… hardware failures
i dont enjoy using (or paying for) aws, but i will never have a firewall or disk failure.

i just tried this with bertstrips -> [email protected] … it was a single query in mbin to migrate everything
ive mostly noticed this on old systems… where the field length for password was decided by an intern 30 years ago.
i manage all files and metadata outside of jellyfin/kodi using mediaelch… it scrapes, renames and sets up all the local metadata files for ingestion perfectly into both my media services.
i dont get this… im technically still usin emby, but user management is beyond simple and requirs no upkeep. no one has asked me to reset their passwords and ive got a few dozen people usin my instance.
the thing that drives me absolutely into matrix-hate-rage is the scrolling. if youre in a matrix space with lots of little different windows attempting to scroll through almost any context is a crapshoot at best.
i like the idea of matrix, but its implementation is hot garbage.
isnt that kind of an oxymoron?
