I’ve been using it exclusively on my iPhone and iPad for about a year with zero issues and zero regrets. I’ve been looking forward to this release so I can also replace Firefox on my Linux pc

This used to happen to me occasionally and my way around it was getting a smart outlet and connecting it to my neighbors WiFi. If I was ever away and there was an issue I was still able to reboot my router thanks to that and it saved me several times.

Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Internet upload speeds on self-hosted Jellyfin/Plex Servers?English
5·4 months agoI started self hosting when I had only 100Mbps down/10Mbps up. For about 5 years years I told my friends and family that I didn’t have fast upload speeds so if several people were streaming at the same time there could be issues. Beggers cant be choosers, so they got what they got. That being said, I always tried to get smaller files so that less bandwidth was needed and that helped a lot
I lived alone so 100Mbps down/10Mbps up was plenty for me and I wasn’t going to upgrade to a faster plan. I also worked from home with those speeds without any issues and I would have continued with that internet plan if I still lived there. My new place includes 1.2Gb down/up so bandwidth isn’t the bottleneck for me any longer.

01·1 year agoHmmm you might be able to first install Debian 12 and make sure the fan control works properly, then just install the proxmox application inside of that
