What? 32bit has nothing to do with how many threads it can use. Just how much memory it can address.

It sounds like they are exactly trying to hit their old price point by waiting for chips to improve enough. So they can get a big performance boost for similar cost.

I guess this is sort of good, letting media encode “Do not motion smooth” might make watching on friends/families TVs bearable now. I’ll just keep my motion smoothing off.
